WIMM-BILL-DANN FOODS OJSC ACQUIRES CONTROLLING STAKE IN OBNINSK DAIRY PLANT OJSC

Moscow, Russia — July 13, 2005 — Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC [NYSE: WBD] has increased its stake in Obninsk Dairy Plant (the town of Obninsk) from 11.61% to 66.33%. Hence, the number of manufacturing facilities comprising Wimm-Bill-Dann has reached 26.

We regard this acquisition as both a profitable investment and an opportunity to preserve and deliver to the final consumer the best dairy production traditions”.

Wimm-Bill-Dann intends to keep Obninsk Dairy Plant’s product portfolio and does not envisage any significant investments in manufacturing and product promotion.
